"The grief counseling that my family has received and is receiving has been invaluable to us to overcome our loss. Without it we would have been truly lost."

North Okanagan Hospice Society’s Pregnancy Loss Support Group is for families who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or newborn death.

The Pregnancy Loss Support Group is a structured information support group that explores a number of topics pertaining to grief surrounding pregnancy loss. The group is a drop-in program, offered at no charge to anyone who has experienced a loss regardless of how long ago the loss occurred. Parents may choose to talk or just listen. No one is asked to share if he or she does not feel comfortable doing so.

The Pregnancy Loss Support Group meets at 7pm the first and third Tuesday of each month at Hospice House, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon. No registration is required. The meetings are held in the Group Room (enter through the right side administration door).

For more information about the Pregnancy Loss Support Group, please call Sheila or Leigh @ 250-503-1800.
